We're not going to tell you what recovery will be like for you -- that depends on the treatment, the provider, and your own body. Here's what's reasonable to ask instead.
Providers can walk you through general aftercare -- activity restrictions, what to avoid, what's normal to notice -- without promising you a specific experience. Ask for that walkthrough before you leave.
Reasonable providers will tell you what's ordinary to see at the injection site in the days after treatment, and what would be unusual enough to call about. Get both answers, not just one.
A provider should have a plan for checking in, even if it's just a call a couple of weeks out. If there's no follow-up plan at all, ask why.
Get specifics -- what symptoms, what timeline, what number to call. Vague reassurance isn't the same as a real answer.
Providers commonly discuss things like exercise, sun exposure, or other plans around the treatment window. Ask what applies to your situation specifically, since it varies by provider and treatment.
This is a fair, direct question to ask before you book, not after. A provider with a clear answer has probably been asked before.
Or tell us what you're looking for and we'll route you to a provider.
Request a ReferralA rough idea is plenty -- we'll follow up to match you with a provider.
